We have tested Shakti batteries with inverters from all major brands. The Shakti 12 Plus suits 12V home inverters up to 1100 VA, and it charges at 14.6V. If your inverter has a lithium setting, select it. If it does not, send us the model number and our support team will confirm the fit before you order.

How many hours of backup does the Shakti 12 Plus give?

About 5 hours at 400 W and about 10 hours at 200 W. A 400 W load is roughly three fans, six LED lights, a TV and a Wi-Fi router.

Is a 200Ah lithium battery better than a 200Ah tubular battery?

A 200Ah tubular battery should only be run about halfway down to protect it, while the Shakti 12 Plus is rated to use 80% of its capacity every cycle. It gives more usable backup at about a third of the weight, and lasts several times longer.

Which inverters does the Shakti 12 Plus work with?

Standard 12V home inverters up to 1100 VA, including the Prakash 1100. Set the inverter to lithium mode if it has one, or send us the model and our support team will confirm.
