We have tested Shakti batteries with inverters from all major brands. The Shakti 12 suits 12V home inverters up to 1100 VA, and it charges at 14.6V. If your inverter has a lithium setting, select it. If it does not, send us the model number and our support team will confirm the fit before you order.

Which inverters does the Shakti 12 work with?

Standard 12V home inverters up to 1100 VA, including the Prakash 1100. Set the inverter to lithium mode if it has one, or send us the model and our support team will confirm.

How many hours of backup does the Shakti 12 give?

About 2.5 hours at 400 W and about 5 hours at 200 W. A 400 W load is roughly three fans, six LED lights, a TV and a Wi-Fi router.

How long does the Shakti 12 last?

It is rated for 4,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, more than 10 years of one full cycle a day, and carries a 5-year replacement warranty.
