Halovolt builds battery cabinets for battery energy storage systems at businesses and institutions in India. The Vidyut 240 is a 240V, 200Ah LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cabinet with its BMS and enclosure that stores 48 kWh, for 240V DC telecom plants, data centres, factories, schools and hospitals. An inverter is optional and depends on your project, so tell us if you want one in your quote. A Vidyut-style pack also comes at 48V nominal for -48V telecom sites, by quote. It reports over CAN and RS485, is sealed to IP67, works from −10 to 55 °C and scales to four cabinets in parallel. It comes in 6,000-cycle and 8,000-cycle versions, carries a 10-year replacement warranty and is made to order in 6 to 7 days.

A battery energy storage system (BESS) stores electricity from the grid, a generator or solar panels and gives it back when it is needed: in a power cut, at peak tariff hours or when the sun goes down. Multiply the load that has to stay on by the hours it has to run. One Vidyut 240 stores 48 kWh, of which about 38 kWh is usable at 80% depth of discharge, so it runs a 10 kW load for close to 4 hours. Four cabinets in parallel store 192 kWh.

Both store 48 kWh at 240V. The 8,000-cycle version is rated for more charge cycles, for sites that cycle the battery every day. Our team will recommend one from how often your site uses it.
Yes. Up to four Vidyut 240 cabinets can run in parallel, storing 192 kWh. Above that, our OEM team quotes custom packs.
On site it reports over CAN and RS485 and through a Bluetooth app. Our Rajkot storage project also uses a remote monitoring portal, so ask for one in your quote if you want it.
